Data Analysts

📍 Location: NSW & VIC + WFH Options

🕒 Contract: 12 months with potential extension

💼 Rate: Negotiable - APS6 Equivalent

🛂 Citizenship: Australian citizens only (Current Baseline OR NV1 Preferred)

We are seeking two experienced APS6-level SAS/Data Analysts to join established teams delivering reporting, analytics, and financial data support within a large, complex organisation.

Available Roles

• SAS/Data Analyst – Financial Reporting
• SAS/Data Analyst – Finance Projects and Systems

These roles involve working with financial and operational data, producing high-quality reporting and insights, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders on sensitive or complex matters. You will need to be confident navigating large datasets, interpreting policy and data standards, and presenting insights in a clear, structured manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, transform and analyse data using SAS and SQL
• Develop reports and dashboards using statistical and BI tools
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate findings
• Support business readiness, system improvements and data governance
• Create documentation including procedures, job aids and training materials

Essential Criteria

• Experience using SAS (Enterprise Guide, VIYA, Visual Analytics)
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
• Experience using SAP (Public Sector Collections & Disbursements module desirable)
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects or equivalent)
• Understanding of Git, Bitbucket or SourceTree (desirable)
• Previous experience in large or regulated organisations

A background in finance, reporting or analytics is essential.
