Responsibilities

  • Translate abstract concepts and user needs into concrete user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Design compelling and consistent user interfaces for both mobile and web applications, with a strong emphasis on effective data visualizations.
  • Obsess over the details of interaction design, visual aesthetics, and motion design to ensure a polished and delightful user experience.
  • Collaborate proactively with product managers to define requirements, contributing to the strategic direction of features, not just executing on pre-defined specifications.
  • Take ownership of designs from conception to launch, including shipping, measuring performance, and iteratively improving based on quantitative and qualitative user feedback.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure the pixel-perfect implementation of designs and a seamless user experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in UI/UX design for both web and mobile applications.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in user experience design, user interface design, and ideally, data visualization.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard visual design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or Illustrator.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions, concepts, and rationales to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
