Job Summary: We are seeking experienced freelance technicians to perform UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) replacement and related tasks at three locations. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing existing setups, performing like-for-like hardware replacements in MDFs, ensuring proper network backup power, and documenting the process while adhering to IT/OT network standards.

Scope of Work:

• Assess available physical space within the MDF for UPS replacement.
• Perform like-for-like replacement of existing MDF UPS hardware.
• Ensure wired port capacity and UPS backup power are maintained.
• Maintain and enforce IT/OT network separation.
• Review and document current power capacity and highlight any limitations.
• Remove, destroy, and dispose of old UPS hardware as electronic waste (e-waste).

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in handling and replacing UPS systems, preferably in IT/network environments.
• Familiarity with MDF (Main Distribution Frame) layouts and power configurations.
• Understanding of IT/OT network separation and associated best practices.
• Ability to safely dispose of electronic waste in compliance with local regulations.
• Strong documentation skills.
