JOB SUMMARY

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Architecture & Infrastructure Leadership:

• Oversee the company infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
• Manage and evolve cloud application infrastructure (Azure), focusing on scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Support development team setting up processes for deployment, monitoring and incident resolution (tech framework: Typescript – node.js)
• Architect and implement solutions leveraging Terraform, GitHub, Azure Infrastructure (incl Kubernetes, mssql, frontdoor, service bus, azure data storage,...), and Azure DevOps.
• Manage and develop private blockchain infrastructure (tessera, geth, ...) to meet consortium requirements and support ongoing innovation.

Operational Excellence:

• Act as a 3rd-level support for all infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support secure and rapid software delivery.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and resource allocation while meeting performance and reliability goals.
• Establish and promote DevOps best practices, automation strategies, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Security & Compliance:

• Guarantee the security of the infrastructure by defining, enforcing, and continuously improving security standards (including VPNs and internal policies).
• Ensure compliance and develop comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Build and lead a high-performing DevOps team, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and professional development.
• Foster seamless collaboration between development, operations, and support teams to ensure reliable and secure infrastructure operations.
• Manage third-party vendors handling the O365 infrastructure, ensuring quality and compliance.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Mandatory Skills

•  Strong technical expertise with Terraform, Microsoft Azure / Azure Devops , Kubernetes and cloud cost optimization.
• PowerShell: Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.

Relevant additional Experience / Knowledge

•  Entra: Experience with Microsoft Entra.
• Bash: Proficiency in scripting with Bash for automation and system tasks.
• Blockchain Experience: Knowledge of blockchain technology and development.
• Coding/Javascript​: Capability to retrieve and interpret information from source code when needed.
