MASH

Talent & Business Operations Specialist

MASH
Singapore · Full-time · Mid-Senior

At Mash, we’re agile operators, navigating complexities through collaboration with precision. We bring the energy of an independent agency partner coupled with enterprise-grade execution. We pride ourselves on our deep knowledge of the client’s ways of working and their inner cultures. Our talent-first and operations-obsessed approach sets us apart, and we’re now looking for a Talent Operations & Business Ops Specialist to help us operate more effectively across all key workflows.

You'll be the connective thread between our talent, finance, and client operations, making sure processes are followed, vendors are paid, and our people and systems are always two steps ahead.

Talent Operations & Experience

  • Own end-to-end onboarding for new talent, including contracts, EOR and tech setup, background checks, laptop orders, and internal systems access.
  • Guide talent through both Mash and client onboarding and cultural immersion programmes, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience, from pre-onboarding to offboarding.
  • Serve as the first line of support for talent, proactively resolving blockers and ensuring they feel supported and informed.
  • Support the recruitment cycle – creating job ads and profiles, shortlisting talent and preparing candidates for Mash interviews and client briefings alongside the Talent Strategy Director.
  • Track and manage key moments across the employee lifecycle (e.g. birthdays, contract renewals, anniversaries), reinforcing a sense of belonging and a positive experience throughout their time with Mash.

Client Operations & Intelligence

  • Work closely with Talent, Finance, and Client Services to provide operational support for a seamless end-to-end delivery from pitch to onboarding to retention. This may sometimes require creative production support.
  • Coordinate with client teams on onboarding requirements, ensuring all systems, access, and devices are in place ahead of start dates.
  • Manage operational workflows within client systems to ensure all tasks are completed within the onboarding process, from approval requests to offboarding.
  • Support client-facing operations by preparing talent data and reporting for QBRs, and keep budget tracking up to date for company-wide reporting
  • Maintain SOPs, onboarding kits, trackers, and documentation to ensure consistency and accountability to SLAs.

Business & Finance Operations

  • Provide administrative and process design and execution support to the Talent Strategy Director, GM, and CFO on a range of agency-wide initiatives.
  • Help build internal systems and processes that scale across: knowledge management, budget workflows and tooling.
  • Reconcile contractor timesheets and ensure timely, accurate payment processing in partnership with Finance, Accounting and EORs.
  • Assist with vendor and technology cost tracking and budget reconciliation in partnership with Finance and Accounting teams.
  • compliance across administrative processes (T&Es, leave management, insurance and claims advisory, device management) and proactively manage documentation and SLAs

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in talent operations, account management, project management, or business operations – ideally within a fast-paced agency or in-house brand environment.
  • Strong knowledge of onboarding logistics, cross-border compliance, and remote team support and engagement.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts, EORs, workflows, vendor payments and cost tracking with high attention to detail, coupled with a natural draw to taking ownership.
  • A process-driven mindset with a talent-first approach — structured, compliant, and service-oriented.
  • Proficient with APAC-wide operational models and how cultural nuances support the global mindset and outlook.
  • Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, with great presentation skills.
