Network Manager (Toronto - Hybrid) Up to $135,000 Base

A major financial services company in Canada is seeking an experienced Network Manager to help facilitate the ongoing growth of its network department!

Seeking a Manager who is still very technical and hands-on, but with great leadership abilities!

Work with leading networking tech and have a big say on the development of the Network Engineering functions.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the network team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.

- Take a hands-on role in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.

- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of enterprise network systems, including Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint, and SD-WAN solutions.

- Manage and support Azure-based networking components and integrations.

- Ensure timely delivery of network projects, coordinating resources and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

- Act as the highest level of escalation for complex network issues, driving resolution and root cause analysis.

- Define and enforce network policies, standards, and security best practices across the organization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of network architecture with business needs.

Desired Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a network management or leadership role.

- Strong hands-on technical expertise with Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint firewalls, SD-WAN, and Azure networking.

- Proven track record of successful network project delivery and stakeholder communication.

- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and provide mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

- Deep understanding of network design, security, and performance optimization.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage escalations effectively.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Checkpoint Certified Expert) are a plus.
