Python Backend Engineer – Permanent
Location: Sydney
We're seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer to join a Sydney-based team building scalable data pipelines and cloud-based platforms.
Key skills:
- Strong Python (Pandas, PySpark, boto3)
- AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis)
- SQL and data modelling
- Airflow (MWAA), Git, CI/CD
- Secure data handling (Secrets Manager, KMS)
Nice to have:
- AWS Athena, Node.js/Express
- DevOps and Agile experience
You'll work across batch and streaming workflows, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-impact data solutions.
