Backend Developer – Growing Tech Consultancy

Our client is a fast-growing technology consultancy partnering with leading organisations to deliver modern, scalable digital solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Backend Developer to join their high-performing engineering team.

About the role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Work across cloud-based environments delivering robust solutions
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and product teams
• Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and best practices
• Work across multiple client engagements and industries

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in backend development (e.g. .NET, Java, Python, or Node.js)
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Consulting or client-facing experience is highly regarded
