Location: Melbourne (3 days onsite, 2 WFH)

Reporting directly to the Cyber Security Manager, you’ll help shape the organisation’s cyber posture following the AESCSF framework. With a modern Microsoft stack and a strong focus on proactive security, this is a career-defining opportunity to lead from the front.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assess and enhance the cyber security posture in line with AESCSF
• Lead and support the execution of the Cyber Improvement Program
• Manage and remediate vulnerabilities across the environment
• Engage in threat detection, hunting, phishing simulations, and incident response
• Analyse and report on malicious activity, threat intel, and attack trends
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to inform and engage stakeholders

Tech Environment:

• Microsoft Security Suite [Defender, Intune, Entra ID]
• Microsoft Azure & broader Microsoft infrastructure
• Crowdstrike (SIEM)
• Palo Alto firewalls

Desirable:

• Operational Technology (OT) security experience
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
