Fullstack Developer – New Product Area

We’re building a next-generation cybersecurity business platform that will transform how our partners deliver, manage, and scale F‑Secure’s services. This is a greenfield product — developed from the ground up without legacy constraints. You’ll join a small, cross-functional team to define, prototype, and launch a platform that enables self-service onboarding, AI-powered insights, and rapid go-to-market for our security offerings.

You’ll have the full backing of F‑Secure’s leadership and the freedom to work closely with a designer, product manager, and fellow engineers to iterate fast, deliver meaningful results, and evolve the platform over time.

We work in a hybrid model based in our newly opened Helsinki HQ – designed for modern collaboration and teamworking, complete with a rooftop sauna and a fully equipped gym. Check it out here.

What'll you do?

• Build and develop a completely new product in a small, agile team
• Create and validate prototypes using mock data to accelerate learning and gather feedback
• Write and refactor clean, maintainable code using modern tools — including AI copilots
• Take ownership of your code throughout its lifecycle, including testing and bug fixing
• Design APIs, SDKs, and integration capabilities that partners can seamlessly embed in their own ecosystems
• Contribute to UX and product design discussions, including features, flows, and epics
• Help evolve the platform’s AI capabilities over time
  
  

What are we looking for?

• A senior fullstack developer with experience in early-stage product development (MVPs, startups, or internal ventures)
• Hands-on skills in fullstack or backend development and modern cloud-based platforms
• Experience with rapid prototyping and making architectural decisions in ambiguous environments
• A passion for writing scalable, maintainable code and continuously improving it over time
• Solid understanding of API design, platform integration patterns, and backend systems
• A collaborative, pragmatic mindset — you thrive in small teams and take ownership of your domain
  
  

You Excel In One Or More Of The Following

• Frontend and fullstack development focused on lightweight, responsive UIs
• Backend, data, and analytics engineering to enable scalable insight generation
  
  

Bonus Points For

• Experience embedding AI features into products (e.g., recommendation systems, adaptive workflows)
• Familiarity with prompt engineering or leveraging LLMs in product development
• Background in startup teams or greenfield product initiatives
