Job Purpose:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of IT-related projects, ensuring they are executed within scope, time, and budget. This role requires strong leadership, coordination across departments, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes in banking and financial services environments. The position also plays a critical role in aligning IT initiatives with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through closure.
- Apply project management methodologies (PMI/PMP) and best practices across all project phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project scope, requirements, and execution.
- Manage third-party vendors and consultants, ensuring timely delivery and SLA compliance.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Deliver project status reports to stakeholders and executive management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure project continuity.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Uphold data confidentiality and security standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the organization’s strategy by aligning IT projects with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP Certification (PMI) is mandatory.
- MBA or Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Proven experience in system implementation, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Effective stakeholder engagement and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.

- Expertise in risk management, change control, and issue resolution.
- Ability to multitask and manage complex, large-scale projects.
