Role:

Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to design, implement, and manage APIs that bridge the frontend and backend systems, and integrate external services and AI models. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong background and a keen interest in scalable, modern system architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable APIs
• Enable seamless communication between frontend and backend systems
• Integrate with external APIs and AI/ML models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend services
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Deep understanding of API Management and RESTful API design principles
• Experience with authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with databases: Vector DBs, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB), and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Exposure to AI/ML model integration and serving frameworks
• Cloud experience, particularly with Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with containerization/orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written English and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and outstanding problem-solving ability.
