Job Title: Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement RAG pipelines integrating LLMs for intelligent data retrieval and response generation.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java and integrate them with AI components.
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript and React.
• Work with MongoDB and SQL/PL-SQL for data storage, retrieval, and optimization.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver AI-powered solutions.
• Optimize performance and scalability of AI applications in production environments.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in LLMs, RAG frameworks, and AI tooling.

Must Have Skills:

• Proven experience in building and deploying RAG-based systems using models like GPT, LLaMA, or similar.
• Strong Java backend development skills with frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in modern front-end development JavaScript, React and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks like LangChain, Haystack, or similar.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid Role; Needs to work 3 days from Office in a week). Can consider for Remote as well.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $140,000– $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
