Chief Information Security Officer

At Kopius, we are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to join our team! The project operates in the Accounting and Consulting sector and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It delivers audit, tax, and advisory solutions that enable organizations to address challenges, seize opportunities, and drive long-term succes.

• Responsibilities: Translate business needs into actionable IT and technology strategies.
• Design, implement, and maintain information security policies in accordance with international standards, with a focus on ISO/IEC 27001.
• Oversee and lead ISO 27001 certification processes, ensuring ongoing compliance and improvement.
• Act as the main point of contact for global security and IT initiatives, collaborating regularly with our London-based global headquarters and other international stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate cybersecurity and technology-related risks.
• Supervise IT infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and information security.
• Promote awareness and adoption of security practices across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities.

• Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems.
• Thrives in a team environment, actively contributes to collaboration, fostering a sense of community.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Embraces new ideas to enhance problem-solving processes.

Qualifications for the role:

Solid experience in senior IT leadership roles or as a CISO.

• Deep understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and hands-on experience managing certification and compliance processes.
• Strategic and business-oriented mindset with strong transformation and change management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Based in Buenos Aires, with availability to work hybrid from the office at Recoleta.
