Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking three experienced Business Intelligence / Data Analysts to support the delivery of a high-impact data and analytics transformation program. These roles are instrumental in shaping strategic data assets and products by translating complex business needs into clear technical and data-driven outcomes.

Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will lead the development of business and technical requirements, support the design and implementation of enterprise data solutions, and ensure alignment with architectural standards and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain traceability frameworks that link project deliverables to defined business outcomes
• Elicit and document business and technical requirements to support enterprise data initiatives
• Analyse and document current and future state data flows and business processes
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and working groups to ensure collaborative input
• Review technical documentation to ensure alignment with business objectives and quality standards
• Contribute to the successful delivery of data assets and products by supporting implementation planning and backlog prioritisation

Essential:

• Proven experience developing and validating business and technical requirements within enterprise data and analytics programs
• Strong understanding of data architecture, including data models, ETL processes, data governance, and security
• Experience documenting process and data flows to provide context for solution development
• Ability to translate business data into meaningful insights to support decision-making
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience working within Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall delivery environments

Desirable:

• Experience delivering complex, integrated solutions in collaboration with in-house and vendor teams
• Background as a Scrum Master or experience in Agile team facilitation
• Familiarity with the SAS Viya 4 platform
• Hands-on data analysis capabilities using SQL or Python for data mapping and lineage
