Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team to design and implement Network Segmentation project on 75 sites in EU region. As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for providing expertise in all aspects of cybersecurity solutions including Fortinet environments with understanding OT Infrastructures and protocols. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, and customer support, to design, implement, and support the Segmentation Project.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical resource for Network Security/Fortinet solutions, providing expert advice and guidance site teams and customers.
- Risk-assess industrial infrastructures and understanding potential security breaches to be mitigated with the project tasks.
- Design and architect solutions based on customer needs, ensuring they align with industry best practices and security standards.
- Plan and execute successful configuration, pre-testing and deployment of Fortinet firewalls, switches and integration into Fortinet management systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for solutions on-site.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including solution architectures, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in the development and execution of proof-of-concept demonstrations and presentations to showcase Fortinet's capabilities to site teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.) will be a strong plus.
- Extensive experience working with Fortinet's cybersecurity solutions, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and supporting complex network security solutions using Fortinet technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other security technologies.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and security frameworks, such as NIST, NIS2, IEC62443.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication (English) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness for 70% travelling within the EU
