Role: Outsystems Developer

Position: Full-time

Location: Muscat, Oman

Experience: 5 Years

We are seeking a Senior OS Developer I to design and implement high-performance, reliable system-level software solutions. This position demands deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize operating system features to ensure high performance and system stability.
• Develop kernel modules, device drivers, and other low-level software components.
• Partner with hardware teams to integrate and validate OS components.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced system-level issues and bugs.
• Lead and participate in code reviews, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for designs, processes, and project outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in systems programming or OS development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and in-depth understanding of operating system internals.
• Expertise in Linux or Windows kernel architecture.
• Proven analytical and debugging capabilities.
• Ability to mentor peers and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
• Certification in OutSystems development is required.
