Embedded Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's smartphone platform development team, working on ARM Cortex-A53-based SoCs. You’ll be building high-performance, energy-efficient embedded software for next-generation mobile devices, balancing speed, stability, and battery life in real-world conditions.

You will design and optimize low-level embedded software for Cortex-A53 SoCs, develop BSPs and device drivers for Android/Linux, and work with hardware teams to bring up new smartphone platforms from prototype to production. The role includes optimizing performance, power, and thermal management, debugging complex hardware/software issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on product architecture and feature integration.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in embedded systems for ARM Cortex-A series, ideally A53 or similar
• Strong C/C++ programming skills with focus on low-level development
• Experience with Android HAL, Linux kernel, or BSP development
• Familiarity with ARM Trusted Firmware, secure boot, and SoC initialization
• Understanding of power/thermal optimization techniques for mobile devices

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of multimedia frameworks (camera, audio, graphics) on mobile platforms
• Experience with Yocto or other embedded Linux build systems
• Exposure to 5G modem integration or RF systems
• Python or shell scripting for automation
