We are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Consultant to work hybrid in Brussels, Belgium:

Duration: 7 months + extensions (Overall)

Location: Brussels (Hybrid Working)

Pay: Negotiable

As part of a small team (4 people) in development, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop functional and technical analyses covering the client's needs;
• Guarantee the compliance of developments directly related to the analyses carried out;
• Document each step and each document in a complete and up-to-date manner at all times;
• Design the technical architecture necessary for the valorization of data;
• Provide the technological expertise necessary to develop the appropriate data solutions for the different use cases;
• Ensure data quality;
• Connect to sources, transform data and add measurements;
• Deliver the finalized data to the client for the realization of performance indicators;
• Translate business and customer needs into technical specifications;
• Build, maintain, develop and support data analytics platforms and data warehouse including the collection and use of all data;
• Create secure and clear data pipelines and maintain them;
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems;
• Develop, execute database queries;
• Perform analysis and testing with critical assessments, data filtering, plus profiling to identify any issues;

• Have you ever used documentation tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or Notion?
• Have you ever set up automated data pipelines?
• Are you familiar with the concepts of data quality and data profiling?
• Have you ever delivered ready-to-use datasets for Dashboards or KPIs?
• Have you ever integrated heterogeneous systems into a data architecture?
• Are you able to maintain data pipelines in production?
• Are you comfortable with the design of technical architectures for data projects?
• Do you have experience in the public sector? If yes, please specify.
• What methodology do you use to ensure data quality?
• What is your approach to testing and validating data before delivery?
