Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of new beauty and skincare product development, from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with brand vision, innovation strategy, and market trends.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration with R&D, regulatory, operations, creative, and marketing team members to ensure cohesive execution of product launches. 
• Manage critical path timelines to ensure projects remain on track and within scope.
• Develop and manage manufacturer briefs that clearly communicate product requirements — including texture, claims, ingredients, packaging needs, and performance expectations — in collaboration with technical teams.
• Coordinate packaging development to ensure alignment of formula and component from the early stages through production.
• In collaboration with the team, test and verify that the new product prototype aligns with the provided product brief and meets brand expectations.
• Maintain relationships with key external partners, such as contract manufacturers, labs, and packaging vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Project Manager to track testing milestones, including formula stability, compatibility, and clinical/user testing processes, ensuring documentation is thorough and results are integrated into final decisions.
• Monitor global compliance and regulatory requirements across markets (including US, EU, and international), partnering with the regulatory team to ensure readiness.
• Analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and consumer insights to identify white space opportunities in the beauty and skincare category and inform the innovation pipeline proactively. 
• Partner closely with operations to ensure product viability at scale, maintaining focus on quality, cost, and operational feasibility.
• Act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of new product launches and post-launch improvements. 

Qualifications

•  3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the cosmetics, skincare, personal care, or other regulated consumer product industries.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional product launches in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
• Highly proficient in Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
• Experience coordinating with external partners/manufacturing facilities.
• Excellent project management and communication skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strategic thinker who can translate consumer insights and market trends into project planning and execution support.
• Passionate about high-performance beauty and staying ahead of market trends.

Considered an advantage:

Strong understanding of formulation development, claims substantiation, and cosmetic regulations.
