We’re hiring a Tech Lead to join us on a payment business unit with global reach!

You will be part of a payment team who is responsible for the online payment experience for mainly private customers. The full responsibility from account management to securing money collection and debt management.

A Tech Lead will be responsible for both execution and leadership, driving technical direction, mentoring, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development within collaborative team environments.
• Deep proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and distributed microservices architectures.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to mentor engineers, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Builds and maintains a healthy, collaborative code review culture, balancing quality standards with coaching opportunities.
• Plays a key role in architectural discussions, making strategic technical decisions aligned with long-term goals.
• Collaborates in shaping the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enabling team success in execution.
• Proactive in sharing ideas, discussing trade-offs, and promoting team-wide alignment on direction and priorities.
• Defines and enforces best practices, standards, and development guidelines across the team.
• Comfortable operating in both Estonian and English, in written and verbal communication.
• Willing to participate in on-call rotations as needed.
