Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead automation, monitoring, and infrastructure initiatives that empower our engineering teams. In this role, you’ll design and scale CI/CD pipelines, develop custom tooling, integrate systems via APIs and event-driven workflows, and mentor engineers. Your work will directly improve developer productivity, system reliability, and overall engineering performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Automate workflows and system integrations through APIs, webhooks, and custom tooling.
• Drive best practices in cloud architecture, observability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Lead backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure scaling strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion cross-team DevOps initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Advanced experience with AWS; additional exposure to Azure or GCP a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash, with working knowledge of Node.js or Go.
• Deep understanding of networking, system performance, cloud security, and access control.
• Proven track record of leading automation and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, Atlassian APIs, and Slack bot development.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in multi-cloud environments
