Mobile Product Owner

We recently launched our new Avantaj app which is an important step forward in reimagining the credit card experience in Romania. With Avantaj, we aim to provide an engaging and empowering experience to the customers with a vibrant new design, revamped loyalty program, enhanced security features, flexible payment options and more. Following our initial launch, we are now developing and releasing key (sophisticated) features that continuously enhance the value proposition for the customers.

Thus, we are looking forward to onboard an experienced Mobile Product Owner who can define and lead this journey along with business, (internal & external) design and development teams.

Job Description

• Define and execute the product vision and strategy for our mobile applications.
• Balance technical, regulatory, and user experience considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Continuously improve the mobile applications with launching new features and drive user acquisition.
• Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders and partner with local and group IT teams as well as cross-functional teams (credit cards, legal, risk and compliance) to develop and improve mobile app that delivers seamless user experience and becomes the go-to mobile banking app for everything ( loyalty, sales, customer service, customer onboarding & products cross-sell, etc.)
• Use data and analytics to monitor app performance, identify opportunities, and inform decision-making.
• Conduct user and customer research to understand user needs and pain points and continuously improve the product experience.
• Project Management: Managing multiple tasks, timelines, and teams is a significant part of the role. Must be able to organize and oversee complex projects, ensuring that all aspects of product development are completed on time and within budget. Effective project management helps the teams coordinate their efforts across different departments and keeps the project on schedule.
• Monitor competition and perform analysis to identify market opportunities.
• Closely follows current and future trends, technologies and best practices needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in mobile product management (iOS and Android).
• Experience with mobile development processes and analytics tools.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Figma, Firebase.
• Nice to have: experience with Credit Cards and Agile way of working.
• Strong analytical skills and experience.
• A passion for understanding user needs and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Good command of English.
