We are currently recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join a global cloud team at our client:

Location: Gothenburg Hybrid Working

Duration: 12 months + chance of extensions

Pay: Negotiable

English & Swedish Speaking

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver secure, global AWS environments for enterprise-scale, mission-critical services.
• Continuously improve infrastructure through automation, cost optimization, performance, and reliability.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across the enterprise.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance in multi-account, multi-region AWS environments.
• Design and support modern microservice architectures, including secure and scalable API integrations with API Gateway and related technologies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to development teams, enabling scalable solutions with CloudFormation, CDK, and serverless technologies.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud issues.
• Support and mentor colleagues, fostering knowledge-sharing, team growth, and consistent delivery excellence.
• Evaluate and adopt new AWS services and emerging cloud technologies, driving enterprise innovation.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in AWS cloud architecture & development (5+ years preferred).
• Skilled in Python, Bash, TypeScript, and IaC (CloudFormation, CDK).
• Hands-on experience with serverless services, IAM/SSO, and AWS Organizations (Control Tower, StackSets, Service Catalog).
• Very good understanding of exposing and integrating modern microservice architectures using API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, and related services.
• Proven ability to deliver 24/7 enterprise-scale services and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for cloud innovation, industry trends, and best practices.

Nice-to-have:

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Pro, Security, DevOps).
• Experience with event-driven architectures, Agile/DevOps workflows.
• Open-source contributions or personal development projects.
• Swedish language skills.
