Job Summary:
The Information Security Analyst V plays a critical role within the Security Analytics Organization, supporting a major Microsoft security project for a leading financial institution. This role will be responsible for developing security alerts, analyzing scenarios in SIEM platforms, and ensuring robust cybersecurity operations while collaborating across multiple technical and business teams.Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently on complex, high-impact security initiatives.
• Create and analyze security alerts in SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).
• Manage cross-functional relationships with technology, business, and corporate stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate documentation and proactive reporting of risks, costs, and outcomes.
• Lead monthly cost or risk-related reviews, escalating issues where necessary.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and benchmarking tools.
• Maintain organized security documentation and ensure alignment with project requirements.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in information security roles.
• Strong background in Microsoft Security (Defender products, Sentinel).
• Experience with SIEM platforms (Sentinel, Splunk).
• Experience in large-scale corporate environments.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Previous experience with AWS or GCP security environments.
• Background in contract/vendor management.

Required Skills:

• Microsoft Sentinel expertise
• Microsoft Security / Defender suite
• Splunk, KQL, SPL

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft SC900 or AZ500 certifications
• Cloud security knowledge (AWS, GCP)
• Stakeholder communication and negotiation
