About The Opportunity

BTSE is seeking a strategic leader to report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. This senior position will own high-priority, cross-functional projects – beginning with the development and scaling of our API broker business – and will evolve to lead other strategic growth areas as the company expands. As the company grows, this role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of emerging or existing business lines. You will help shape strategic direction, lead new initiatives end-to-end, and assume greater responsibility based on performance and organisational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Company-Wide Strategic Initiatives:
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects from conception through to execution.
• Assess emerging business lines and devise strategies for market entry, competitive positioning, and growth.
• Work closely with the CSO and other senior leaders to shape and execute top-level strategic initiatives.
• API Broker Business Leadership:
• Define and implement the expansion strategy for the API broker programme.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align API offerings with market demand.
• Establish frameworks with the Data Team to monitor API client performance and refine the value proposition.
• Cultivate key relationships with high-value API clients and broker partners.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven success in independently delivering new business lines and initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of API-based trading workflows.
• Strong ability to collaborate with, develop, and guide multiple teams towards shared objectives.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and possesses a builder mindset – the role is expected to evolve with company needs and individual strengths.
