Business Analyst - Corporate Banking & Cross Border Payments

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Corporate Banking and Cross Border Payments. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, business teams, and technology partners to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives in the payments and transaction banking space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document business requirements for corporate banking and cross-border payment solutions
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and process flows
  • Conduct detailed analysis of payment processes including SWIFT, ISO20022, and cross-border payment standards
  • Liaise with technology teams to design and validate solutions aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Support end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, UAT, and implementation
  • Collaborate with compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure payment solutions meet global and local regulatory guidelines
  • Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and propose enhancements for process efficiency
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking domain with focus on Corporate Banking and Cross Border Payments
  • Strong understanding of payment processing (SWIFT, ISO20022, SEPA, RTGS, GPI, correspondent banking, etc.)
  • Knowledge of transaction banking, liquidity management, and treasury operations
  • Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior experience with large transformation programs in payments/corporate banking is a plus

Good to Have:

  • Experience with payment hubs, cloud-based payment solutions, or FinTech platforms
  • Familiarity with MAS guidelines, global payment regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of digital banking products and cross-border payment innovations (blockchain, instant payments, APIs)
