Game Tech Leader (Unity/VR)

About the Role

We are looking for a Game Tech Leader to provide technical leadership and hands-on support in the design and development of immersive VR shopping experiences. This role requires strong expertise in C#, Unity, 3D animations, avatars, and VR, combined with back-end knowledge in Node.js and Python, as well as cloud-based AI/ML solutions on AWS (Bedrock, Lex, Lambda, Polly).

The professional will lead the technical vision, mentor the team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions that blend game development, VR, AI, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance for Unity/VR development projects.
• Lead the design and implementation of VR scenes, animations, avatars, and interactive gameplay mechanics.
• Oversee integration of 3D assets and avatar animations into Unity, ensuring smooth interactions and immersive experiences.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate Node.js, Python, and AWS-based services into Unity solutions.
• Drive adoption of AWS AI/ML services (Bedrock, Lex, Lambda, Polly) for automation, real-time interactions, and scalability.
• Establish and enforce best practices for coding standards, architecture, security, and performance.
• Mentor and support developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing technical team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Game Tech Leader, or Senior Unity Developer.
• Strong expertise in Unity (C#) for VR development.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D modeling, animations, avatars, and Unity animation systems.
• Experience with back-end development (Node.js, Python).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Bedrock, Lex, Lambda, Polly) and NLP-based solutions.
• Ability to define technical architecture and ensure scalability and performance in real-time applications.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Fluent/Advanced English for working with international teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Background in game design, gamification, or interactive commerce solutions.
• Experience in cross-platform VR or AR development.
