Role: Network Engineer

Contract period: 2 years + Extension

Languages: Fluent in German & English

Location: Austria

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our client that is in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Switch Configuration
• Trouble Shooting with access and distribution switches
• Network User Support, Data Center Management (Planning, implementation, cabling, mesuring, trouble shooting)
• Special Meeting Support especially all council meetings
• Access authorization management for data center
• Administration of DNS entries
• Supervision of outside contractors, e.g. IBM, Hitachi
• RMA processing
• Installation and extension of switch stacks
• Upgrading network equipment
• Network Installation/configuration/documentation for Infopoint
• New card readers Ximedes (cantine payment system) and others including trouble shooting
• Wireless (roll out, trouble shooting, installation, support)
• Network for infopoint and troubleshooting
• Wireless (roll out, trouble shooting, installation, support)
