About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced iOS Developer to join our dynamic team at Ascendion. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated iOS applications that meet the needs of our clients and end-users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless, high-performance mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of iOS development frameworks, modern architectural patterns, and best practices in app security and performance optimization. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of professional experience in iOS application development. Proficiency in Swift is essential, with optional experience in Objective-C. A strong understanding of the iOS SDK, Xcode, and modern development tools is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with SwiftUI, Combine, and concurrency features like async/await. Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture is necessary to ensure scalable and maintainable code. Experience working with dependency injection frameworks like Resolver, Swinject, or Needle is preferred. Additionally, candidates should have a solid background in integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, working with CoreData, and managing third-party SDKs via CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager. Knowledge of performance profiling tools, debugging techniques, and testing frameworks such as XCTest and XCUI is essential. A good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and agile methodologies will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are crucial for success in this role.

You will be tasked with creating modular SDKs and reusable components to streamline development processes. You will actively participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and implement best practices for app security and data privacy. Monitoring app performance using analytics tools like Firebase and Sentry, and addressing issues proactively, will be part of your daily activities. You will also collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and assist in the deployment process, including App Store submissions and release management. Staying updated with the latest iOS development trends and continuously improving your skills to adopt new technologies and methodologies will be expected.
