Your job title will be Junior Cloud Engineer.
About What We Do
The Cloud Services Team manages critical infrastructure, including:
- Private Cloud: A multi-region OpenStack platform with hundreds of physical hosts and thousands of VMs.
- Storage Solutions: Petabyte-scale Ceph systems for volumes, S3-compatible storage, and more.
- Containerization: A Kubernetes platform orchestrating thousands of pods for hundreds of applications.
- Load Balancing: High-performance Nginx and HAProxy services handling over 2M requests/second.
- Content Delivery: internal CDN services and from external vendors.
- Support Operations: Assist in maintaining cloud platforms and managed services, ensuring they run smoothly and meet Adform’s high standards.
- Learn & Grow: Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies under the guidance of senior team members.
- Contribute to Automation: Participate in automating routine tasks to streamline processes.
- Monitor & Troubleshoot: Help monitor systems, respond to incidents, and learn how to resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate: Work with teammates and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of Adform’s infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of Linux-based systems (e.g., RedHat, CentOS) and enthusiasm for learning more.
- A strong interest in cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure.
- Willingness to learn and master new technologies (e.g., OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, Nginx, HAProxy, Prometheus, Grafana, Puppet, basic scripting/ programming skills using Bash, Ansible or Python).
- Proactive attitude, the ability to ask questions and seek help when needed.
- Respectful and collaborative mindset, with a passion for working in a team.
- Good English language skills.
