Senior Data & AI Engineer – Zaventem

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data & AI Engineer to join a global consultancy powerhouse and help clients transform their businesses with cutting-edge Data & AI solutions.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and delivering end-to-end AI solutions for international clients across industries such as telecom, finance, retail, and manufacturing. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, guide organizations through their digital transformation journey, and lead project teams from architecture to implementation.

From Generative AI and LLMs to real-time data streams and advanced MLOps pipelines, you’ll transform technological breakthroughs into scalable, production-grade solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and deliver high-impact Data & AI projects across industries
• Architect and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions (LLMs, MLOps, pipelines)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into solutions
• Mentor and coach junior and medior colleagues to grow the next generation of AI talent
• Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, on-prem AI stacks)
• Drive innovation and best practices while ensuring technical excellence
• Travel occasionally to client sites, with hybrid flexibility (Zaventem base)

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience delivering Data & AI solutions, leading technical teams and projects
• Strong expertise in Python and one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Proven track record in architecting & deploying scalable AI solutions
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, ML pipelines, MLOps
• Strategic and analytical mindset with ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication in Dutch (Mandatory) and English
• Passion for mentoring colleagues and fostering a culture of growth
