Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Day 1 infrastructure deployment, including servers, networks, storage, security appliances, and related systems, in compliance with government policies and IM8 standards.
• Oversee Day 2 operational support for infrastructure services, ensuring system stability, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with government agencies, infrastructure teams, and vendors for implementation, testing, and smooth transition to operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, readiness reviews, and post-implementation evaluations for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, operational manuals, change records, and governance reports.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements applicable to government infrastructure environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Min 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in the Government or Public Sector required.
• Experience in Day 1 or Day 2 operations is a plus.
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure projects such as data centre migrations, network upgrades, server deployments, and hybrid cloud transitions.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement, compliance, and IT security frameworks (IM8, ISO 27001).
• Experience managing both project delivery and infrastructure operations (Day 2 BAU).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
