Senior Dotnet Developer

Senior .NET Developer | Energy Industry | Up to $150,000 + Super

We are working closely with an expert in the energy space who are looking for a strong Senior Developer to join them to help them scale.

This role can have huge growth potential, as they are looking to add significant power to their team over the next few years,

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications using C# and .NET technologies, with a focus on Blazor for front-end development and Web API for backend services.
• Architect and maintain cloud-native solutions deployed on Azure and orchestrated via Kubernetes.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, particularly within energy and utilities domains.
• Optimize database queries and schema for SQL Server and Postgres, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
• Contribute to DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized deployments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including significant work as a senior developer.
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including Blazor (or similar SPA frameworks), Web API, and C#.
• Strong experience with relational databases – SQL Server and/or Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• Energy industry experience required – familiarity with grid systems, energy trading, utility data standards (e.g., EDI, CIM, IEC), or smart metering is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps practices including containerization, CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure automation.

Salary:

Up to $150,000 + Super
