Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with experience leading AML-related initiatives in the banking sector. This role involves managing regulatory-driven projects, system upgrades, vendor integrations, and modernization efforts. The successful candidate will be confident, assertive, and able to navigate senior stakeholders in a fast-paced and complex environment.

Contract Length: 12 months (potential extension)

Location: Toronto (Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week)

Industry: Banking / Financial Services

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience

• Experience managing AML projects (regulatory-driven, upgrades, or compliance-related)

• Strong vendor management and coordination skills

• Excellent communication — ability to confidently engage senior stakeholders

• Assertiveness, presence, and initiative in complex environments

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience migrating AML solutions to cloud environments

• Exposure to multiple vendor integrations across large projects

• Strong balance of diplomacy with assertiveness
