Senior SAP Developer - ABAP & BTP

Job Purpose

We are seeking a seasoned SAP professional with over 8 years of experience to lead and contribute to the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise-grade applications. This role demands strong technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP, along with leadership skills to mentor a team of developers and drive high-performance outcomes.

General

Operational

• Lead and mentor a team of developers; assign tasks and review outputs.
• Apply data management and security principles at the application level.
• Develop software programs using SAP ABAP, Java, .Net, Oracle, or other relevant technologies.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to development standards.
• Perform integration activities and support application upgrades.
• Document deployment procedures and follow change control protocols.
• Provide ongoing support for custom and packaged software solutions.
• Conduct peer reviews and testing to enhance software quality.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and SAP releases.

Technical Expertise

Must-Have

• 10+ years of SAP experience, with deep expertise in:
• SAP S/4HANA (ABAP) – custom development, performance tuning, and upgrades.
• SAP BTP – including RAP, CAPM, and SAP Fiori/UI5 using Web IDE.
• Migration of SAP Fiori projects from Web IDE to CAPM.

Highly Desired

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and middleware tools.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP AI/ML services.
• Background in the oil and gas industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certifications in enterprise applications (e.g., SAP ABAP, Oracle, Java, MCSD).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in application development using Oracle, .Net, Java, or ABAP.
