About The Role
Keeper Security is seeking a talented, creative, and visionary UX/UI Designer to join our passionate team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of our products and services, creating seamless and engaging digital experiences across multiple platforms. This is a 100% remote position, providing flexibility for candidates worldwide, with an option for a hybrid schedule for those residing near our global headquarters in Chicago. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to develop innovative interfaces that simplify complex security concepts and make cybersecurity accessible and empowering for users. Your work will directly influence how millions of people protect their digital identities, transforming cybersecurity from a tedious task into an intuitive and confidence-boosting experience.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in UX/UI design roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or an equivalent field
- Proficiency in designing, prototyping, and presenting in Figma
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of articulating design decisions effectively
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles for web, desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms
- Ability to solve problems, adapt to changing requirements, and learn complex solutions quickly
- A keen eye for detail, craftsmanship, and creating elegant user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders, to define user requirements, project goals, and overall experience design
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation and wireframing to prototyping and final UI design, ensuring consistency and intuitiveness
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and inform design decisions
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to effectively communicate user needs and guide development
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure visual consistency and scalability
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX/UI best practices, integrating them into our design processes
- Leverage and evolve Keeper’s design system and brand guidelines to maintain visual coherence across all digital properties
- Design responsive layouts optimized for various devices, including web, desktop, mobile, and tablets
