DevOps Engineer

Clarvo is currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a DevOps Engineer to join their technology team in Helsinki.

About The Client

The client is an innovative health-tech company dedicated to building a secure SaaS platform that revolutionizes patient data management for healthcare providers. Their mission is to improve the accessibility, security, and efficiency of critical health information.

The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position for a mid-level DevOps Engineer located in Helsinki. The role utilizes a hybrid work model, offering a flexible combination of in-office and remote work. You will be a key part of the infrastructure team, responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the cloud environment that powers the company's core services. Your work will directly impact the reliability and scalability of a platform used by healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and improve the company's CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
• Maintain and scale the cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, to support a growing user base.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to ensure consistency and automation.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with software development teams to optimize the development lifecycle and deployment processes.
• Implement security best practices throughout the infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proven proficiency with infrastructure as code tools, with Terraform being a key requirement.
• Solid experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Good scripting abilities in a language such as Bash or Python.
• Professional working proficiency in either English or Finnish.
