About the Role:

• Role: Senior UX/UI Designer
• Location: Brazil (Remote)
• Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full UX/UI design process, from research and discovery to prototyping and final delivery.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and competitive analysis to uncover user insights and pain points.
• Translate research findings into personas, user flows, journey maps, and wireframes that guide product direction.
• Develop high-fidelity UI designs and maintain design systems that ensure cross-platform consistency.
• Define and advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
• Independently identify design opportunities, propose solutions, and make strategic design decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility, usability, and design consistency.
• Present design rationale and research-backed recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Must-Have Requirements

• 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing research-driven design decisions.
• Proven ability to independently lead design initiatives from concept to execution.
• Expertise in user research methods (interviews, surveys, usability studies, A/B testing).
• Strong proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Miro, etc.).
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
• Solid knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
• Ability to simplify complex problems into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-design stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
