Endpoint Information Security Specialist:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Endpoint Information Security Specialist for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Endpoint Information Security Specialist - Job Description:

The project involves developing new policies and applications within a Windows-based environment to support endpoint security governance. The role focuses on triage, resolving situations, and implementing technical controls to mitigate business risks.

Endpoint Information Security Specialist - Responsibilities:

• Oversee and enforce enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to technology controls and information security activities.

• Provide after-hours support for change monitoring review and/or security incidents as needed.

• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to identify risks and provide guidance.

• Review internal processes to identify potential opportunities for improvement.

• Educate clients/stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture.

• Investigate Information Security Incidents and develop remediation/prevention mechanisms.

• Review requests related to Endpoint security controls and ensure compliance with TD Security standards.

Endpoint Information Security Specialist - Mandatory Skills:

• Deep subject matter experience with Windows operating environments.

• Understanding of App Locker and its functionalities.

• Strong research and analytical skills with a technical understanding.

• Detail-oriented.

• Strong collaboration skills.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Security Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Jira for tracking tickets.

• Exposure to large-scale environments.

• Change Management experience.

Endpoint Information Security Specialist – Assignment Length:

This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite, moving to 4 days onsite starting November 3.
