Fullstack Engineer - Node.js & React.js - Dubai 🇦🇪

We’re partnered with a well-backed AI start-up in Dubai that’s scaling rapidly and building an AI-driven SaaS platform with a global reach. With significant investment and customers across logistics, energy, e-commerce, and construction, they’re on a mission to transform industries through automation, sustainability, and smarter operations.

They’re now looking for a Full Stack Engineer with around 5+ years of experience who thrives in fast-paced, product-led environments. This is a role for someone who enjoys ownership, can work independently, and has a proven track record of building scalable, cloud-based solutions.

**You must have experience working directly with products - we're searching for more of a 'product engineer' - someone with strong experience in production, with Data-Intensive platforms**

Tech Stack:

Node.js, Typescript, Javascript, React (Next.js), MongoDB, NoSQL, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes

The role:

• Develop and maintain frontend components (React/Next.js) and backend services (Node.js/NestJS)
• Collaborate with the team to translate product requirements into technical solutions
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experience
• Participate in code reviews to uphold best practices and share knowledge
• Design and implement APIs and microservices
• Document code and processes for maintainability
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose improvements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience, with a strong background across the full stack
• Strong backend engineering with Node.js / NestJS
• Solid frontend experience in React / Next.js, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• Database expertise with MongoDB + SQL
• Knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and containerization/production
• Experience writing unit/integration tests (Jest, Cypress or similar)
• Bonus: exposure to IoT or hardware-integrated products
