IT Network Engineer & Security

Summary

As an IT Network Engineer, you are responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining the company's global network infrastructure.

The role is based in Dubai, with potential travel across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe to attend meetings and support project execution.

He will work closely with the Central Security Department and serve as the main point of contact for the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities

Technical:

• Deploy and optimize the company’s IT network.
• Maintain operational conditions for all Group network systems in coordination with our central Team.
• Ensure compliance with the Group Information Security Policy.
• Respond to security alerts related to network systems or IT devices.
• Provide Level 2-3 support for network-related incidents.
• Ensure the Middle East region complies with the companies Group Security Policy, in coordination with Local IT Managers.
• Support IT-related tasks, including Helpdesk activities, as needed for Dubai HQ.

Project Management:

• Design and evaluate international architecture changes/evolutions.
• Ensure technical consistency of group network infrastructure.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of technical and project deliverables.
• Maintain all documentation for new network projects.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Networking, or Telecommunications.

Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills & Qualities:

• LAN and WAN/SD-WAN, Wi-Fi (Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki).
• Internet technologies (DNS, SSH, FTP, DHCP, HTTP, NTP, etc.).
• Security infrastructure: Next-Gen Firewalls, VPNs, Proxies, IDS/IPS, WAF (Fortinet, Forcepoint…).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability.
• Proactive in service and infrastructure improvement.
• Experience in project and resource management.
