Cybersecurity Governance Specialist
Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major European project focused on strengthening cybersecurity governance and compliance frameworks. Youโll be supporting the implementation of the EU Cybersecurity Regulation 2023/2841 โ driving risk-informed cyber governance programs across a highly secure, regulated environment.
Work alongside senior cybersecurity leaders to define strategic action plans, review governance models, and ensure compliance across complex IT landscapes. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the cybersecurity posture of a critical European institution while working in a highly collaborative, international environment.
Responsibilities:
Support the definition and execution of a validated, risk-informed cyber risk management program.
Review and enhance cybersecurity governance and compliance strategies in alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Assess and improve existing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices.
Develop and maintain governance documentation, focusing on areas such as cloud services, communications security, and zero-trust principles.
Support the definition of key risk indicators and continuous compliance monitoring.
Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders including ICT, RMCC, DPO, and AI governance teams.
Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance methodologies.
Skills / Must Have:
Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
Strong understanding of EU cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
Expertise in cyber risk management strategies and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English C1/C2).
Ability to create clear, structured technical documentation.
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and ITSRM methodology.
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC).
Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
