Kaliba are partnering with a leading IT services provider that delivers end-to-end network and security solutions to enterprise customers across Australia. They’re now seeking an experienced Technical Lead (Networks) to join their Managed Services team.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong networking expertise, customer focus, and a passion for guiding technical teams to deliver exceptional service.
About the Role
You’ll act as the primary technical contact for a portfolio of key customers — ensuring seamless delivery of network and security services. You’ll provide technical direction, oversee implementations, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement across managed environments.
You’ll also collaborate with customer success, project, and professional services teams to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years in senior network engineering or technical leadership roles.
- Expertise across key vendor technologies — Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper (certifications such as CCNP/CCIE/NSE highly regarded).
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, and network security protocols.
- Experience within a managed services or enterprise environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance technical delivery with customer engagement and leadership.
