The opportunity

We’re looking for a mid-weight Graphic Designer to join us on a casual basis (estimated to be 10 hours per week) casual basis. This isn’t just about making things look good. It’s about creating thoughtful, high-quality design that helps tech startups tell their story, stand out and grow.

You’ll collaborate with our team and directly with founders to deliver design across a wide mix of formats from printed brand collateral like flyers, pull-up banners and event booth displays to digital assets like infographics, pitch decks and social media templates.

We offer true flexibility with a high-performance, remote-first team that is focused on outcomes and making a difference for our clients.

What you'll do

• Design brand collateral: Create sales flyers, brochures, banners and event booth displays that bring startup brands to life.
• Digital design: Develop engaging graphics for infographics, reports, pitch decks and social media templates and posts.
• Brand consistency: Work within (and help evolve) visual identity systems, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate closely: Work with Stella’s team and client founders to interpret briefs, provide creative input and deliver polished final assets.
• Attention to detail: Check every pixel, proof and export to ensure assets are production-ready and meet spec.

• You’re proactive and reliable. You thrive on clear briefs but aren’t afraid to ask questions, offer suggestions and push work forward.
• You’re a collaborator. You enjoy working with founders, marketers and other creatives, and can adapt your style to different brand worlds.
• You’re future-ready. You know how to leverage AI tools to speed up workflow, spark ideas and get to design gold faster.

Skills & Experience Checklist

• 3–5 years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house).
• Strong portfolio spanning both print and digital work.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva and Figma.
• Experience designing sales collateral, event materials and social templates.
• Understanding of print production and preparing files for press.
• Motion design or video editing skills are a bonus, but not required.
