Workday Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business / Data Analyst, possessing both the Workday Pro Financial Reporting Services Certification and the Workday Pro Prism Analytics Services Certification.

11 months contract - Ireland based.

Candidate must possess both of the certifications:

• Workday Pro Financial Reporting Services Certification
• Workday Pro Prism Analytics Services Certification

This role will work first hand with the Accounting organization to enhance their processes with Automation and Data Science.

The ideal candidate brings a thorough understanding of data modeling, reporting frameworks and has the ability to drive processes improvement strategies, and solution.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal partners to: identify, define, and clarify business requirements; translating needs into efficient reports and configurations that conform to standard methodologies and provide data driven insights.
• Utilize datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, behaviors, and metrics
• Build organization-wide relationships to move initiatives forward and position ideas to enhance the likelihood of success.
• Develop technical expertise in various technologies, including but not limited to, the reporting and analytics framework and security framework.
• Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to uncover process gaps and work multi-functionally to formulate plans to improve support models.
• Participate in the organizational change and launch support processes.
• Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain specialists and end-user representatives.
• Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met.
• Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance signoff.
• Contribute to documentation, QA, and organization of our analytics tooling.

Requirements:

• Workday Pro Financial Reporting Services Certification is a must have!
• Workday Pro Prism Analytics Services Certification is a must have!

• Identify Process Gaps & provide improvements
• Strong data analysis and data modeling skills, ability to interpret, structure, and visualize complex datasets.
• Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources (Workday and other applications, experience in Workday reporting and analytics tools is beneficial.)
• Knowledge of process improvement and automation within financial or accounting workflows.
• Experience with system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), including issue tracking and validation.
