We’re looking for an experienced Java & Kotlin Developer (or potentially a senior Java Developer ready to move into Kotlin) to strengthen a cross-functional R&D team working on advanced visualization and workflow software. You’ll contribute to the evolution of backend components that power high-performance systems used in industrial and medical environments worldwide.

This role involves hands-on backend development, close collaboration with product and QA teams, and participation in the modernization of an existing Java platform into a Kotlin-based microservices architecture.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services using Kotlin and the Spring framework.
  • Migrate existing Java components to Kotlin and ensure consistency across microservices.
  • Collaborate with product owners and software engineers to translate functional needs into scalable technical designs.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong attention to performance and security.
  • Contribute to API design, system integration, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and peer code reviews.
  • Support testing and validation activities aligned with software quality standards.
