About the Role:

This project focuses on developing a digital identity wallet that enables citizens to securely manage digital versions of certificates, proofs, and identification documents such as ID cards, driving licenses, and professional licenses. We are seeking experienced backend developers to join the team in building a secure, scalable, and high-performance digital identity solution. The ideal candidates are passionate about security, thrive in agile environments, and enjoy creating technology with real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the digital identity wallet.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability throughout development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Contribute to open-source initiatives and maintain high-quality code.
  • Build, operate, and monitor container-based systems

Requirements:

  • Java development experience: Minimum 5 years.
  • Linux environment development: Minimum 3 years.
  • Microservices architecture: Minimum 3 years.
  • Framework experience: Quarkus, Spring Boot, or equivalent (Minimum 3 years).
  • Tooling proficiency: Git, Maven, Gradle, or other modern development tools.
  • Agile team-based development: Minimum 3 years.
  • Languages: Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
  • Experience with KPI, certificate management, cryptographic security functions, or HSM (≥1 year).
  • Basic knowledge of app or front-end development (≥1 year).
  • Experience with container orchestration and monitoring (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar, ≥1 year).
  • Experience with SAML2, OpenID family, or OAuth 2.0 (≥1 year).
  • Knowledge of SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions (≥1 year).
  • Experience with Kafka or similar asynchronous message queues (≥1 year).
  • Experience developing open-source code.
