Role:

Technical Architect / Customer-Facing Delivery Manager – Network Transformation


Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect / Delivery Manager with strong expertise in network infrastructure, SDN/SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity, who can bridge technical depth with customer-facing delivery leadership.

The ideal candidate will drive solution architecture, technical governance, and delivery execution for complex enterprise and telco-grade network transformation programs — ensuring alignment between customer requirements, engineering design, and operational outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


Customer Engagement & Delivery Leadership

  • Act as the primary technical interface for customers throughout the project lifecycle — from discovery, design, and deployment to acceptance and handover.
  • Lead customer workshops, architecture reviews, and design validation sessions, ensuring technical solutions meet functional, operational, and security requirements.
  • Manage scope, risks, and dependencies while maintaining delivery timelines and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with program management, engineering teams, and vendor partners to ensure end-to-end delivery success.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and transparent reporting.


Solution Architecture & Technical Design

  • Define high-level and detailed network architectures (L2/L3, SD-WAN, data center fabric, hybrid cloud, edge connectivity, etc.).
  • Translate customer needs into scalable, secure, and automated network solutions leveraging modern technologies (e.g., EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, VPN, firewall segmentation, load balancing).
  • Design and validate network topologies and integrations with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) or virtualized platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
  • Contribute to HLD/LLD documentation, migration playbooks, and operational readiness guides.
  • Support the automation and observability strategy using tools like Ansible, Terraform, NetConf/REST APIs, and Python scripting.


Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee technical delivery quality, ensuring adherence to design standards, best practices, and compliance frameworks.
  • Validate implementation against approved architecture and participate in post-mortem reviews or root-cause analysis for major incidents.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation completeness before handover to operations.



Qualifications & Skills:

Technical Expertise:

  • 8–12 years of experience in network engineering, architecture, or delivery management roles.
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas:

-SD-WAN / SDN platforms: Versa, Cisco Viptela, Juniper Mist/Contrail, VMware NSX-T

-Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS, QoS, Multicast

-Security & Connectivity: VPN (site-to-site, client-to-site), next-gen firewalls (Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet)

-Data Center & Cloud Networking: Fabric design, interconnect (DCI), load balancing, network virtualization

  • Hands-on understanding of automation, monitoring, and observability tools (Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, Prometheus, AppNeta, or Broadcom NetOps).
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, IAM/PIAM integration, and network segmentation principles is an advantage.


Delivery & Soft Skills

  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level or telco-scale network transformation programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; capable of translating complex technical topics into business value for executive stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project lifecycle management, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps principles.
  • Comfortable leading distributed teams across geographies and time zones.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or Engineering.
  • Professional certifications such as:
  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise, Data Center, or Security)
  • Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE
  • Versa Certified SD-WAN Professional
  • AWS or Azure Network Specialty
  • ITIL v4 or PMP (for delivery focus)


Work Environment:

  • Works closely with global engineering teams, program managers, and customers across multiple time zones.
  • Availability to travel for onsite customer meetings.
