We’re looking for a Java Software Developer (m/f) to join our client in the banking sector.

Location: Luxembourg

Mode: On-site with teleworking flexibility after the first 3 months

Contract: CDI (open to permanent employees and freelancers)

Language requirement: Fluent English

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, Java/Spring, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and Git/GitLab version control
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills, including performance tuning of Java applications and SQL queries
• Basic understanding of SaaS/Cloud technologies
• Experience with shell scripting (bash, ksh, cmd) on RHEL/Windows environments
• Knowledge of banking processes and financial instruments (an asset).

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Informatica PowerCenter, Java/Spring, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to optimise development and deployment workflows
• Perform test automation to ensure reliable and high-quality software delivery
• Conduct performance analysis and tuning for Java applications and SQL queries
• Collaborate using GitLab for version control and code lifecycle management
• Support cloud-based initiatives by applying foundational SaaS/Cloud knowledge
• Create and maintain shell scripts to automate operational tasks on Linux and Windows platforms
• Apply banking knowledge to build solutions supporting financial instrument processing (advantageous)
